Because Mineral Point Trail is very far from civilization what a great place for hiking it is. You can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River in the vicinity of Mineral Point Trail. During the summertime at Mineral Point Trail highs are regularly in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all
    through the winter temperatures at Mineral Point Trail descend into the 0's.
