  There's so much to do here at Monument Canyon Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Monument RV Resort is a great site for that, and whitewater paddling is great on Colorado River. Monument Canyon Trail is commonly a relatively dried up location; the wettest month of the year is generally October, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Throughout the summer months here at Monument Canyon Trail, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through
    the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Monument Canyon Trail. Paddling on Kannah Creek is so much fun; if you're looking for a good tour, Colorado National Monument is reasonably near. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Monument Canyon Trail
has to offer, you can camp at Fruita Junction RV Park.
You'll have to go far from Grand Junction to get to Monument Canyon Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Nearby Monument Canyon is a good place to go if you're at Monument Canyon Trail; people from Grand Junction love to come here.
