Overland Trail is mostly a reasonably waterless site; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. Camping at Stove Prairie Landing Campground is always a delightful experience, and Cache La Poudre River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby.
