| | You'll have to go far from Fort Collins-Loveland to get to Overland Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. This river is so great. Stove Prairie Landing Campground is a good campground here, and needless to say Middle Fork Rabbit Creek is a stunning stream that is worth a visit. Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Overland Trail in Larimer County, Colorado is just what you need.

Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Overland Trail is excellent!. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Halligan Dam in close proximity to Overland Trail, and why not a little side tour to Sixmile Creek. At Overland Trail you don’t see much precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest.
