Overland Trail

Colorado has lots of outdoors activities. Overland Trail is located quite a long drive from Fort Collins-Loveland but it is one of many great trails in this area. Here at Overland Trail you'll probably meet some people from Livermore, and let's not forget Sixmile Creek which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. A visit to Lory State Park when you're here at Overland Trail is a good idea; in case you donít have a problem getting covered with water,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. There's some flowing water close by, Middle Fork Rabbit Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. If you came for an overnight stay Stove Prairie Landing Campground
is a good place to camp, and Halligan Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Camping is available at Ansel Watrous Campground; Cache La Poudre River - North Fork is a nice whitewater spot close by. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Overland Trail. Around Overland Trail you donít get a lot of precipitation. July is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summer here at Overland Trail,
high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Overland Trail dip into the 0's.
