Throughout the months of summer at Penrose Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Penrose Trail are in the 0's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! | Trail is pretty waterless generally; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Penrose Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Goldfield RV Campground is a great place for that, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Gold Camp Dam in the neighborhood of Penrose Trail.
