| | In the Front Range there are many great hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. This part of Colorado has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Throughout the months of summer at Penrose Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Penrose Trail are in the 0's.

to Penrose Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Penrose Trail has to offer, you can camp at Gold Camp Promotions; a short journey to Seven Falls is always worthwhile.

| Trail is pretty waterless generally; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Penrose Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Goldfield RV Campground is a great place for that, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Gold Camp Dam in the neighborhood of Penrose Trail. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Take a side tour to North Cheyenne Creek, and Gardiner Gulch is also a fine spot to look at.
