Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Platte River. If you desire a little side trip, try North Fork Davis Gulch, and camping at Golden Bell Camp & Conference is always a great experience.
You're sure to come across some friendly people from Divide here; if you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some magnificent whitewater.
