Hiking trails are all over the Front Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Round Mountain Trail in Larimer County, Colorado is such a great place. So much fun stuff to do here in the Front Range, too fine to be true. There's some flowing water close by, Cedar Creek is a stream you can check out while here; if you have time, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth going to. At Round Mountain Trail     you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls through July; December meanwhile is the driest month. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping is available at Seven Pines Campground and Cabin; a good place to check out is Saddle Notch. Round Mountain Trail is located quite a long drive from Fort Collins-Loveland but what a great place for hiking it is. Idylwilde Dam is a stunning place next to Round Mountain Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here at Round Mountain Trail. A delightful spot to camp here at Round Mountain Trail is Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Big Thompson River. Summertime highs at Round Mountain Trail usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's.
