Rule Ridge Trail

  No chance of getting bored in Colorado if you like the outdoors. Rule Ridge Trail is a long drive away from Colorado Springs but hiking it is always fun. In the Front Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Rule Ridge Trail in Teller County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out.
If you havenít been to Florissant Fossil Beds National
    Monument, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. Painted Rocks - Pike National Forest is a nice local campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Woodland Park here. Rule Creek Dam is a beautiful location right
next door to Rule Ridge Trail, and Rule Ridge Trail is close to Mueller State Park which is a scenic spot. Rule Ridge Trail is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Alpine Lakes Resort is a good spot to camp nearby. Paddling on South Platte River is so much fun. For the period of the warm months at Rule Ridge Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings  
highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows at Rule Ridge Trail all through the winter typically fall into the 0's. Not much rainfall falls here at Rule Ridge Trail. Of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
