This is a popular site for folks from Silverthorne; swing by Mine Creek it's a pleasant site to take a look at. Stay the night at Saint Louis Campground, and soar down the rapids of Clear Creek - West Fork in a kayak.
| Saint Louis Trail gets very little rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Park Range has to offer. Byers Creek Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and paddling on Woods Creek is so much fun. Take a side trip to Gordon Creek, and Saint Louis Pass is another pleasant place to pop by close by.
Gotta get out of the city man, and if you happen to be in Grand County of Colorado, Saint Louis Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors fun. | |
