If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and San Carlos Trail in Pueblo County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. A tremendous location to camp here at San Carlos Trail is Aspen Acres Campground; Bear Canyon is around here, and is a great place. San Carlos Trail is pretty waterless usually; August is the month that gets the most rain, and January     on the other hand is the driest. If you're here at San Carlos Trail, you could stop at Willis Creek, and camping is available at North Creek Campground. In the Sangre De Cristo Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Klipfel Meadow is a fine spot, and as expected Williw Creek flows through this neighborhood. All through the summer highs here at San Carlos Trail get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
