| | While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. Through the long summer days at Sheep Trail temperatures are usually in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Sheep Trail overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Why not camp at Sunshine Campground if you're here at Sheep Trail; there's whitewater on San Miguel River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.

way to spend an afternoon; you can run the rapids of Lime Creek. At Sheep Trail you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Take a little journey to Wilson Creek if you're here
| at Sheep Trail; Lizard Head Pass is absolutely a wonderful place to stop at.
If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sheep Trail. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at Trout Lake Dam near Sheep Trail, and while you're here at Sheep Trail it's a good idea to take a look at Wilson Meadows. Sheep Trail is very far from the nearest big city and if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice.
Lizard Head Creek is in the vicinity of Sheep Trail and is always a delight to visit, and a tremendous site to camp here at Sheep Trail is Riverwood Inn and RV Park. | |
