Simmons Peak Trail in Saguache County, Colorado is such a great place. During the months of summer highs here at Simmons Peak Trail reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Simmons Peak Trail through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 10's.

River is so much fun. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A delightful spot to camp here at Simmons Peak Trail is Little River Ranch Motel, and whitewater paddling is great on Arkansas River.
At Simmons Peak Trail you don’t see much
| rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. This part of Colorado has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Simmons Peak Trail being so far away from the nearest city hiking it is great fun any time.
