| | Skyline Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a really good trail. Colorado is a great place for hikers. It is very dried up here at Skyline Trail frequently; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. A great location to camp here at Skyline Trail is Broadacres Traveling Teepee, and Rio Grande is a great whitewater spot close by.
For the period of the warm days of summer at Skyline Trail highs are generally in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. Highs all through |
the winter are usually in the 30's, and night lows in the-10's for Skyline Trail. In the San Juan Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
This is a great river. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the
| San Juan Mountains. Camping is available at Cebolla Campground, and if you would like a little side visit, try San Luis Pass. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Skyline Trail in Hinsdale County, Colorado is a good choice.
