| | Skyline Trail is very far from the nearest big city and many people like to hike here to be close to nature. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Skyline Trail while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Skyline Trail temperatures drop to the-10's. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's so much to do here at Skyline Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Stone Cellar Campground is a fine spot for that. You'll need more |
than a day to discover everything Skyline Trail has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Views RV Resort.
This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Skyline Trail in Saguache County, Colorado is a good choice.
| There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
Skyline Trail is mostly a relatively dried out place; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Paddling on Rio Grande is so much fun, and since you're here, you might as well explore Canon Diablo.
