  While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. It is very arid here at Stormy Peaks Trail generally; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while December is usually the driest month. A trip to Stormy Peaks Pass is always fun; a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile.
Stormy Peaks Trail is not very near Fort Collins-Loveland at all but it is a great escape from the city. Summer at Stormy Peaks Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. The cold
    days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Stormy Peaks Trail nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is great on Cache La Poudre River - South Fork, and camping is available at Tom Bennett Campground.
Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy this place. Getting to Fall Creek from Stormy Peaks Trail is trouble-free; Pingree Park is a brilliant spot to check out. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and if you came for an overnight stay Fish Creek Campground is a good location to camp.
