Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Strawberry Trail with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Strawberry Trail night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. If time allows, Great Sand Dunes National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try South Fork Cascade Creek.
At Strawberry Trail you don’t see much precipitation;
| the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is January. This site, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. If you came for an overnight stay Ute Creek RV Park is a magnificent location to camp, and hey, Strawberry Creek is a fine local stream. Gotta get out of the city man, and Strawberry Trail in Huerfano County, Colorado is the outdoors at it's best.
