  Sulfur Trail is a trail quite far from Silverthorne but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Around Sulfur Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Sulfur Trail.
If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground is a fine spot to camp, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River. This part of
    Colorado has a great deal of available outdoors activities. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? Sulfur Trail in Grand County, Colorado is just what you need.
There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Park Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sulfur Trail. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Sulfur Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Camping at Sulfur Trail is nice fun, Gilbert Campground is a nice local campground, and do have a look at Kelly Creek while you're here at Sulfur Trail.
Take a side trip to Cub Creek, and Williams Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. Sylvan Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here; you'll meet a lot of people from Silverthorne here.
