| | In the Front Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Pretty far from Boulder you find Switzerland Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. All year is a glorious time in the Front Range if you love the outdoors.
If you came to camp Mitchell Creek Campground is a delightful place to do that, and since you're here why not take a look at Delonde Gulch. The warmest time of the year at Switzerland Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, mostly |
in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Switzerland Trail dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking.
There's so much to do here at Switzerland Trail
| that you need to camp here for a while, Pawnee Campground is a fine spot for that, and Boulder Creek - South has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Switzerland Trail in Boulder County, Colorado is just the place. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Switzerland Trail. Caribou Creek flows through this vicinity, and Sherwood Flat is a glorious place.

Creek, and a quick trip to Delonde Creek is without doubt a wonderful idea. Rocky Mountain National Park is a fine national park, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Glacier Lake Dam near Switzerland Trail. Around Switzerland Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
