| | Hiking here in Colorado is a must. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River, and there's some flowing water close by, East Fork Fall Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. All through the long summer days at Telephone Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Telephone Trail are in the 0's.

herself at Dunton Hot Spring, and camping is available at Cayton Campground. Because Telephone Trail is very far from civilization hiking it is great fun any time. Telephone Trail is pretty dried up frequently; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; June is the
| month with the least moisture.
A journey to Telephone Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Eagle Falls, and since you're here at Telephone Trail it's a great idea to take a look at Geyser Park. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do right next door to Telephone Trail. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Dolores River. West Fork Fall Creek is near Telephone Trail and is always a joy to go to, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Telephone Trail is Burro Bridge Campground.
