  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Treasure Mountain Trail in Mineral County, Colorado is a good choice. You'll have to go far from Durango to get to Treasure Mountain Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Colorado is a great place for hikers.
In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these
    mountains. Windy Pass is a great site to explore in close proximity to Treasure Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Park Creek Campground is a fine location to do that. Having a fine time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is
uncomplicated. If you come at the right time of year, San Juan River - East Fork offers some nice whitewater. There's so much to do here at Treasure Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a great spot for that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek. It is very dried up here at Treasure Mountain Trail mostly. July is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. During the days of summer  
highs here at Treasure Mountain Trail get into the 70's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Treasure Mountain Trail.
