Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Park Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. High temperatures at Troublesome Creek Trail during the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Troublesome Creek Trail dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Getting to McBride Creek from Troublesome Creek Trail
    is simple.
Some of the water close by flows, like Paradise Creek, and nearby Paradise Gulch is a pleasant place to go. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Park Range. If you come at the right time of year, Colorado River offers some wonderful
whitewater; if you came for an overnight stay Trail Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp. It's a long drive from Silverthorne to Troublesome Creek Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
Float down the rapids of Willow Creek in a kayak, and Denver Creek Campground is a splendid local campground. This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.
