At Turkey Lake Trail you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June. Far from civilization you find Turkey Lake Trail and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person.

in the 30's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Turkey Lake Trail dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. That right there is a load of fun stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan Mountains has it all. Camping at West Fork Campground
| is always a tremendous experience, and if you come at the right time of year, San Juan River - East Fork offers some magnificent whitewater.
A tremendous place to camp here at Turkey Lake Trail is Middle Fork Hunter Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Turkey Lake Trail in Mineral County, Colorado is just what you need.
