| | Ute Creek Trail is located quite a long drive from Grand Junction but it is a good trail. Hiking trails are all over the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. This part of Colorado has a great deal of available outdoors activities. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Ute Creek Trail in Mesa County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time.

Dead Horse Pasture is a great location to check out. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Colorado River. Ute Creek Trail is regularly a reasonably dried up location; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is usually the driest
| month.
Divide Forks Campground is a good campground nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dolores River. Throughout the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Ute Creek Trail. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Ute Creek Trail temperatures fall to the 10's.
