| | Ute Pass Trail is a very long way away from civilization and It's always fun to hike here. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Park Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you. The warmest time of the year at Ute Pass Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Ute Pass Trail descend into the 10's.

is always a good experience. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. A tour to Elk Park rejuvenates the spirit, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Elk River.
Camping is available at Lakeside Campground, and whitewater
| paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend North Platte River. Ute Pass Trail is pretty dried out typically; most of the rain falls all through April while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Jackson County of Colorado, Ute Pass Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
