Ute Peak Trail is located quite a long drive from Silverthorne but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. At Ute Peak Trail all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Ute Peak Trail through the winter frequently descend into the-10's. Ute Creek Dam has glorious water scenery and it's in close proximity |
to Ute Peak Trail, and if you came to camp Boulder Creek Campground is a great site to do that.
Hiking trails are all over the Park Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Ute Peak Trail is Blue River. There's so much
| to do here at Ute Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Sugarloaf Campground is a nice spot for that.
You completely must love the Park Range. There are plenty of folks from Silverthorne here at Ute Peak Trail, and a brilliant spot to stop at nearby is Ute Pass. Williams Fork is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Ute Peak Trail. At Ute Peak Trail you don’t see much rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February.
