| | In Colorado you never run out of outdoors fun. V Rock Trail being so far away from the nearest city there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the San Juan Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Castle Creek; get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of San Juan River - East Fork. V Rock Trail is pretty dehydrated mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is typically the driest month.

camp at Stunner Campground while you're here at V Rock Trail. Camping is available at Blanco River Campground; a good place for whitewater paddling is Navajo River.
All through the days of summer highs here at V Rock Trail reach the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of
| course, ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at V Rock Trail temperatures fall to the 0's. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Archuleta County of Colorado, V Rock Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
