Trail. All through the days of summer at West Branch Trail highs are commonly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while West Branch Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
| It is very arid here at West Branch Trail usually; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River next to West Branch Trail; it's a good idea to visit North Fork Rapid Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Tunnel Campground is a glorious spot to camp, and get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Joe Wright Creek.
