Windy Pass Trail

  Windy Pass Trail is a trail quite far from Durango but hiking it is always fun. Hiking trails are all over the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Colorado.
Gotta get out of the city man, and Windy Pass Trail in Mineral County, Colorado is just what you need. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Juan River - East Fork; hey, Fall Creek is a perfect local stream.
    Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is great! Get wet paddling on Wolf Creek; a magnificent spot is Windy Pass. Take a side trip to Wolf Creek; West Fork Campground is a tremendous campground
nearby. It's always perfect to have a look at Treasure Falls, and Windy Pass Trail is a great location to visit for more than one day, Pagosa Riverside Campground is a great location to camp nearby. This place, Windy Pass Trail, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. Windy Pass Trail is pretty dried out ordinarily. July is the month that gets the most rain while June is mostly the driest month. High temperatures at Windy Pass Trail through the summer are  
in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Windy Pass Trail.
