| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Narragansett Trail in New London County, Connecticut is a perfect place for getting out. Narragansett Trail is located quite a long drive from Norwich-New London but it sure is a nice trail. At this river you will always have a good time. There's so much to do here at Narragansett Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Orchards Resort Park is a great site for that; there's some flowing water nearby, Lantern Brook is a stream you can stop by while you're here. So many amusing things to |
do at Narragansett Trail, so little time. All the water falling down from the sky makes Narragansett Trail a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. If you came to camp Mystic KOA is a glorious location to do that; of
| course Hill Brook flows through this region. Why not stop at Long Pond Dam while you're here, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Norwich-New London here. Hopeville Pond State Park is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. Through the days of summer highs here at Narragansett Trail reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Narragansett Trail descend into the 10's.
