| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Benton McKaye Trail in Fannin County, Georgia is the outdoors at it's best. Hiking in Georgia is such a great thing to do. A river like this is too good to miss. If you came to camp Lake Conasauga Campground is a magnificent location to do that, and a pleasant spree to Phillips Cove is a good way to spend an afternoon. Ocoee River is a delightful whitewater spot near Benton McKaye Trail; Browns Lake Dam is a beautiful place, without doubt worth stopping at.

Benton McKaye Trail gets a good deal of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is October. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Benton McKaye Trail. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Benton McKaye Trail.
