| | Hiking here in Georgia is a must. Hiking trails are all over the Blue Ridge Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. High temperatures at Chattahoochee Trail all through the summertime months are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Chattahoochee Trail plunge into the 20's. Getting to Cooper Branch from Chattahoochee Trail is simple, and there are some great whitewater spots on Helton Creek.

Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Chattahoochee Trail in Union County, Georgia is just what you need. This river is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Left Fork Nottely River, and Chattahoochee Trail is a fine place to camp, Dodd Creek Vista Campground
| is a fine place. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Stay the night at Lake Winfield Scott Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dodd Creek.
You'll have to go far from Cornelia to get to Chattahoochee Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Since you're here at Chattahoochee Trail why not go to Wide Gap, and Turkeypen Flats is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Chattahoochee Trail.
