Kellie Brown: I was there during the weekend before the 4th. DO not plan to stay a whole day here. Have a snack see the falls and move on to other falls. I camped here and it was okay. Had a run in with a huge Timber rattler 3/4 of a mile from entrance of Desot and realized camp was below....... Go see the Waters Creek area as well. Have a great lunch for few hours at Vogel North of DeSoto.
