  Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Scull Shoals Trail in Greene County, Georgia is just what you need. This part of Georgia has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is a great local campground; some nearby water includes Sandy Creek. Why not explore Toombs Lake Dam since you're here, and a visit to Scull Shoals Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Watson Spring. Whitewater paddling
    is good on Apalachee River, and Hard Labor Creek State Park is a stunning spot any time of year. Lots of people from Arnoldsville come to Scull Shoals Trail, and why not take a little journey to Rose Creek since you're here. If only
every spot had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Scull Shoals Trail is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, North Shore Resort is a wonderful site to camp nearby. In the event that you donít have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rose Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Scull Shoals Trail while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter this  
place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Scull Shoals Trail. Scull Shoals Trail is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation. Most of the rain falls during March while October is regularly the driest month.
