Twin Bridges Trail

Where does the trail start?  There is a rock road across from the marina, is that it?  Can you swim there?  Campfires?
Says Ron

The Twin Bridges Trail is a bit strenuous and half of it is along the lake. It ends near a hunting camp where trash is dumped by campers. I really wish the trail were longer. USFS needs to consider walk-in camping with a parking area to require campers to walk 1/4 mile to the sites. The gate needs to be locked to the lakeside
    lots except for hunting season.
Says KA Turner

Twin Bridges Trail is a trail quite far from Milledgeville but trails like these are great. While visiting this area in Georgia it's a good idea to go hiking too. There's some
flowing water nearby, Cold Branch is a stream you can go to while you're here. If you came for an overnight stay US Forestry Department is a splendid site to camp. Murder Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here. Why not camp at Little River Park while you're here at Twin Bridges Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little River. Lots of people from Eatonton come to Twin Bridges Trail, and if you come
at the right time of year, Murder Creek offers some good whitewater. A spree to Twin Bridges Trail wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Oconee National Forest. For the period of the days of summer at Twin Bridges Trail highs are frequently in the 90's.
