| | Alpine Trail is a very long way away from civilization and trails like these are great. Idaho has so much to offer nature lovers. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pack River.
Summertime highs at Alpine Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Alpine Trail tend to be in the 20's. So many amusing things in the Bitterroot Range, just impressive. camp at Lightning Creek Trailer Park while you're here at Alpine Trail, and Becker Draw is definitely a fine site to have a look at. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Alpine Trail in Bonner County, Idaho is a good choice.
There are some
| fine whitewater spots on Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork; obviously South Fork Porcupine Creek flows through this area. Alpine Trail is usually a rather dried up site; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Bitterroot Range where beautiful scenery awaits you.
Camping is available at Porcupine Lake Campground; let's not forget Cascade Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. | |
