Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; Alpine Trail is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Lightning Creek Trailer Park is a splendid site to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Pack River. A perfect spot to have a look at right next door to Alpine Trail is Becker Draw, and do visit Cascade Creek if you're here at Alpine Trail.
