  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Antelope Trail in Gem County, Idaho is just what you need. If you are in Idaho during hiking season you have to go hiking. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Antelope Creek flows through this vicinity; a tremendous site to camp here at Antelope Trail is Sage Hen Campground. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
Through the summertime
    months at Antelope Trail temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Antelope Trail are in the 10's. Antelope Trail is very far from the nearest big city
and it is a great escape from the city. The yearly precipitation here at Antelope Trail is about average; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Do set aside some time for Rammage Meadows since you're here at Antelope Trail, and why not camp at Hollywood Point Campground since you're here at Antelope Trail. If you're here at Antelope Trail, you could have a look at Woody Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Payette River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork.
