  If you are in Idaho during hiking season you have to go hiking. And if that's not enough there's plenty more cool stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Payette River - North Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot right next door to Antelope Trail, and Antelope Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Hollywood Point Campground is a fine local campground. A fine location like Rammage Meadows here at Antelope Trail is too tremendous to miss; Woody Creek is in close proximity to Antelope Trail and is always a diversion to take a look at.
    The annual rain here at Antelope Trail is about average; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July. Antelope Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking it is always fun. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork.
In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Antelope Trail in Gem County, Idaho is a really good place to spend some time. There's so much to do here at Antelope Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Sage Hen Campground is a wonderful place for that, and some close by water includes Antelope Creek.
At Antelope Trail during the days of summer highs are in the 90's while
 
nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Antelope Trail.
