  In the Bitterroot Range there are many great hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Bad Tom Trail is in a quite desolate area and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. Through the warmest time of the year at Bad Tom Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Bad Tom Trail.

    don’t you think? if you happen to be in Shoshone County of Idaho, Bad Tom Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Bitterroot Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but
if it's for you then we recommend St. Joe River - Marble Creek, and a great location is Experimental Draw.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on St. Joe River - North Fork. The yearly precipitation here at Bad Tom Trail is about average; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Some close by water includes Flume Creek; Down By The Depot RV Park is a fine campground here.
This is such a fun river. Bad Tom Trail is a pleasant place to camp, Blue Anchor Trailer Park is a pleasant place, and Murray Creek is in close proximity to Bad Tom Trail and is always a pleasure to stop at.
