  A visit to Idaho is not complete without some hiking. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Broken Leg Trail in Idaho County, Idaho is such a great place. Hiking trails are all over the Salmon River Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Broken Leg Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it sure is a nice trail.
Since you're here at Broken Leg Trail why not take a look at Chamberlain Gulch, and a tremendous site to camp here at Broken Leg Trail is Van Creek Campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Salmon
    River Mountains has to offer. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River, and swing by Spring Creek it's a pleasant spot to pop by.
High temperatures at Broken Leg Trail through the summertime are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Throughout
the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Broken Leg Trail are in the 20's. At this river you will always have a good time. Camping is available at Spring Bar Campground, and why not a little side visit to Elkhorn Creek.
Broken Leg Trail gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
