Buckhorn Trail

  Hiking trails are all over the Salmon River Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Buckhorn Trail is located quite a long drive from Boise City-Nampa but It's always fun to hike here. Gotta get out of the city man, and Buckhorn Trail in Valley County, Idaho is a really good place to spend some time.
Hiking in Idaho is such a great thing to do. During your stay at Buckhorn Trail do take a look at close by Sylvan Beach, and get yourself into a kayak and hit
    Payette River - North Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Kennally Creek Campground is a good place to camp, and Molony Dam has good water scenery. Get wet paddling
on Salmon River - South Fork; Payette National Forest is a glorious place. A day at North Beach right next door to Buckhorn Trail is time well spent, and camping is available at Lake Fork Campground. Yeah, come here to Buckhorn Trail for a good time. At Buckhorn Trail through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Buckhorn  
Trail are in the 10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Buckhorn Trail. January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest.
