There's so much to do here at Bull Moose Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Heyburn Mountain Campground is a great site for that, and float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. Bull Moose Trail is pretty waterless ordinarily; through     the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is ordinarily the driest month. If you are in Idaho during hiking season you have to go hiking. All through the summertime at Bull Moose Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Bull Moose Trail temperatures plunge to the-10's.
