| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Bull Moose Trail in Custer County, Idaho is a really good place to spend some time. In the Sawtooth Range there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. Bull Moose Trail being so far away from the nearest city trails like these are great. There's so much to do here at Bull Moose Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Heyburn Mountain Campground is a great site for that, and float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is ordinarily the driest month. If you are in Idaho during hiking season you have to go hiking. All through the summertime at Bull Moose Trail temperatures are usually in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer
| temperatures descend down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Bull Moose Trail temperatures plunge to the-10's. That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Sawtooth Range has it all. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bull Moose Trail has to offer, you can camp at Sockeye Campground, and paddling on Salmon River is so much fun.
