Bull Moose Trail

  You'll have to go far from Mountain Home to get to Bull Moose Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A visit to Idaho is not complete without some hiking. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Custer County of Idaho, Bull Moose Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
In the Sawtooth Range there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. Everybody loves
    Challis National Forest; you can run the rapids of Salmon River. Yeah, come up here to the Sawtooth Range for a delightful time. Bull Moose Trail is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Sockeye Campground is a fine location
to camp nearby. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bull Moose Trail has to offer, you can camp at Heyburn Mountain Campground. Summertime at Bull Moose Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Bull Moose Trail dipping  
down into the-10's through winter nights. Bull Moose Trail is pretty dehydrated ordinarily. The month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.
