  Hiking here in Idaho is a must. Getting to Trout Creek from Burnt Log Trail is simple; get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Johnson Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Burnt Log Trail; the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burnt Log Trail.
There's whitewater on Johnson Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. There's so much to do here at Burnt Log Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Buck Mountain
    Campground is a good location for that. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains, it's a great hiking area.
Burnt Log Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Time
