    Burnt Log Trail is easy. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's so much to do here at Burnt Log Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Trout Creek Campground
is a great place for that. Payette National Forest is worth visiting if you're at Burnt Log Trail, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Johnson Creek. Looking for some flowing water? Try Trout Creek; in the event that you donít have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek. All through the summer months at Burnt Log Trail highs are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. The wintertime  
brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Burnt Log Trail temperatures drop to the 0's.
