| | Campbell Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it sure is a nice trail. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Campbell Trail. A pleasant spree to Stewarts Meadow is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Skein Lake Dam. In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. For the duration of the summertime months at Campbell Trail highs are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter |
brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Campbell Trail are in the 10's. Frech Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out, and Campbell Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Cascade State Park is a great local campground. So
| many entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains, just mind-boggling. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Hazard Creek, and there are some great whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Payette River - North Fork; camping at Water's Edge RV Resort is always a fine experience.
