  Campbell Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it sure is a nice trail. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Campbell Trail. A pleasant spree to Stewarts Meadow is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Skein Lake Dam.
In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. For the duration of the summertime months at Campbell Trail highs are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter
    brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Campbell Trail are in the 10's. Frech Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out, and Campbell Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Cascade State Park is a great local campground.
So
many entertaining things in the Salmon River Mountains, just mind-boggling. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Hazard Creek, and there are some great whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Payette River - North Fork; camping at Water's Edge RV Resort is always a fine experience. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Campbell Trail; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.

you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Valley County of Idaho, Campbell Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. This part of Idaho is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season.
