  Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Clearwater Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. This part of Idaho has a great deal of available outdoors activities. There's so much to do here at Chamberlain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Whitewater Campground is a glorious place for that; Harlan Meadows is right here at Chamberlain Trail.
We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Chamberlain Trail in Idaho County, Idaho is the outdoors at it's best. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors
    enjoyable stuff the Clearwater Mountains has to offer. Stay the night at Big Mallard Creek Campground; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. Everybody loves Dry Meadow, and whitewater paddling is fine on Big
Creek.
Chamberlain Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and it's one of those places where hiking is great. A typical amount of rain falls here at Chamberlain Trail; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
Through the days of summer here at Chamberlain Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Chamberlain Trail overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
