A tremendous place to camp here at Coyote Springs Trail is Papoose Creek Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Monumental Creek offers some splendid whitewater. Camping is available at Elkhorn Bar Campground, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Big Creek.
