Float down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Crestline Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Payette Campground is a fine site for that. For the duration of the summertime months at Crestline Trail temperatures are typically in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in |
the 40's while Crestline Trail overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.
Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Salmon River Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do
| in the Salmon River Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like North Fork Pearl Creek, and if you came to camp Upper Payette Lake Campground is a pleasant site to do that. Crestline Trail is generally a quite arid spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
