Float down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Crestline Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Payette Campground is a fine site for that. Crestline Trail is generally a quite arid spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
