  Outdoors people generally like this part of Idaho. Far from civilization you find East Mountain Way and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. East Mountain Way is pretty dried up ordinarily; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
High temperatures at East Mountain Way during the summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night
    lows at East Mountain Way all through the winter ordinarily descend into the 10's. In the Salmon River Mountains there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
And if that's not enough there's loads more cool stuff to do in the Salmon River
Mountains. Camping at East Mountain Way is splendid fun, Trail Creek Campground is a splendid local campground, and paddling on Payette River - Middle Fork is so much fun. At this river you will always have a good time. Visit Fool Creek while you're here at East Mountain Way; get dripping wet paddling on Payette River - Middle Fork. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Valley County of Idaho, East Mountain Way is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
If you came for
 
an overnight stay Silver Creek Campground is a nice spot to camp; of course East Fork Clear Creek is a striking stream that is worth visiting.
