Idaho has so much to offer nature lovers. Don't forget to take a good little spree to Hurd Creek, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Payette River - North Fork. is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Evans Trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. If you came to camp Poison Creek Campground
| is a tremendous place to do that, and it's a great idea to stop by Deer Creek. Camping at Amanita Campground is always a magnificent experience. Not much rainfall falls here at Evans Trail; most of the snow falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Evans Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
