  This part of Idaho has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. Do set aside some time for Jumbo Basin while you're here at Fall Creek Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork. Summertime highs at Fall Creek Trail typically tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Fall Creek Trail.
    Fall Creek Trail is very far from the nearest big city and what a great place for hiking it is. At Fall Creek Trail you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At this river
you will never have a bad time. Camping at Black Lee Campground is always a wonderful experience; nothing beats kicking back at North Beach.
Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, if you happen to be in Valley County of Idaho, Fall Creek Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Salmon River Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Fall Creek Saddle is near Fall Creek Trail and is absolutely a perfect place to explore, and a good place to camp here at Fall Creek Trail is Lake Fork Campground.
