| | Gabes Peak Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a good trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. Whitewater paddling is nice on Payette River - North Fork, and Gabes Peak Trail is a great place to camp, Sage Hen Campground is a great place. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Gabes Peak Trail in Gem County, Idaho is such a great place.
Hiking here in Idaho is a must. High temperatures at Gabes Peak Trail throughout the months of summer are in the 90's, and during |

the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Gabes Peak Trail overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. From a rain point of view Gabes Peak Trail is a pretty typical spot; most of the snow falls through January,
| and the driest of the months is July.
Get drenched paddling on Payette River - North Fork, and Wilson Meadows is a charming site any time of year. Stay the night at Hollywood Point Campground. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Salmon River Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
