Headquarters Trail is mostly a rather waterless site; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. enjoyable stuff in the Bitterroot Range. Twin Creek is a great place to check out. There's so much to do here at Headquarters Trail that you need to camp here for a while, East Camos Campground is a nice place for that.

| and you can stay the night at Upper Lake Campground. High temperatures at Headquarters Trail through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Headquarters Trail. In Idaho you never run out of outdoors fun.
Whitewater paddling is splendid on Henrys Fork, and hey, Middle Fork Sheridan Creek is a perfect local stream. | |
