In Idaho you never run out of outdoors fun. Summer at Hemlock Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Hemlock Trail. Chute Creek is a great spot to take a look at, and if you came to camp Bonners Ferry Resort is a good place to do that.
Hemlock Trail is very far from the nearest big city and there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. Take a side trip to Treble Creek; whitewater paddling is not for everyone
but if it's for you then, we recommend Pack River.
If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. If you come at the right time of year, Kootenai offers some fine whitewater. There's so much to do here at Hemlock Trail that you need to camp here for a while,
Porcupine Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that. Hemlock Trail is a location that is quite waterless generally; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
